Molly turned a year old in March just gone. In May we will officially had her a year. It has been a more intensive year than either of us could have expected! We did not expect to need to put in so much training hours! Molly is a Labrador Cross. She’s a pretty small Labrador. She loves to run and would run all day if she could. She loves to chase squirrels and will tell you very vocally if she disapproves of something or wants more attention. She loves to sit on us and fall asleep to cuddles.
Luckily we crate trained her, though even this was a challenge for vocal Molly. We are hoping to lay out all of our new baby items in the next few days to help Molly adapt to life after May (our due date for baby).
Molly has always been very excitable and overly keen to lick and jump on children. She adores them. She hasn’t had much socialisation with them so this next chapter might be challenging for all…
She is learning to be more gentle, taking treats with her tongue and not jumping up so much. But as we call her Molly is a loop hole dog, she likes to find ways around what her humans want for her. She loves to do the training but unless there are good reasons to keep it up she might find a loop hole to the plan!
